(a) DOs
(i) Be respectful to your parents, teachers, staff of the
College and elderly citizens.
(ii) Be punctual.
(iii) Be neat, clean and correctly dressed.
(iv) Be humble in your success or victory.
(v) Be truthful.
(vi) Take pride in yourself, your College, your Parents
and your Nation.
(vii) Be courteous. Remember “Thank You” and
“Please” are two very good words.
(viii) Be thankful to God for every thing that He has given
to you.
(ix) Believe in yourself and have courage. Remember God
is with you always and everywhere.
(b) Don’ts.
(i) Do not cause hurt by your words or deeds.
(ii) Do not be afraid to speak the truth or to accept a
mistake.
(iii) Do not damage or disfigure property of your College.
(iv) Do not use abusive language.
(v) Do not leave college without permission during office
hours.
(vi) Do not report late after vacations.
(vii) Do not use mobile phones and music systems in the
class and during official functions.
(viii) Do not look down upon those who are less privileged,
weak or physically challenged.
(ix) Do not ill-treat animals or birds.
(x) Do not mock or ridicule at someone’s failure.
(xi) Do not be arrogant.
(xii) Do not copy or cheat.
(xiii) Do not steal.
(c) Forbidden Practices. No student shall
indulge in any of the following practices. Any body found
indulging in
forbidden practices will be liable to strict disciplinary
action.
(i) Use of violence in any form.
(ii) Sex related offences.
(iii) Rude and disorderly behaviour.
(iv) Ragging of junior students in any form.
(v) Smoking.
(vi) Use of drugs or intoxicants.
(vii) Any form of gambling.
(viii) Spitting in or near the College building except in
any spittoon provided by the College.
(ix) Bringing outsiders for interference in the college
or to show ‘Dadagiri’
(x) Casteism, communalism and practice of untouchability.
(xi) Immoral acts.
Discipline
Being governed by AWES and co-located within the vicinity
of the Army Campus the students of ACN, Jalandhar Cantt
are expected to behave and conduct themselves in a most
disciplined manner. The discipline and behaviour of students
will also be governed by the relevant ordinance of Baba
Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot which empowers
the college authorities to punish the students for misconduct
to the extent of ‘Rustication’ from ACN, Jalandhar Cantt
for two months or even outright expulsion. The management
reserves the right to expel any student from the hostel
at short notice and without assigning any reason for the
same.
Ragging
Ragging of juniors in any form is banned by the orders of
Hon’ble Supreme Court as well as Management. If any incidents
of ragging comes to the notice of the management, the concerned
student shall be given liberty to explain and if her explanation
is not found satisfactory, the management would expel her
from the institution and necessary legal action will be
taken under relevant laws.
Accident
The college authorities are taking all the precautions for
proper care of the students. However, the College will not
be responsible for any unforeseen accident or death to the
students during the training and stay at the Institute.
